It’s not a well-known fact, but Earth is the only planet with dogs on it (so far — we live in hope). We think dogs are pretty cool. So we want to look after the planet. And we want to make it easy for our customers to do the same.
Our shipping boxes go directly to our customers’ doors, reducing the need for store runs. It’s made from cardboard and is completely recyclable, once the dog is done playing with it (or “reusing” it).
Unpacking Our Packaging
Our insulation is pretty fun. It’s made from corn starch, and dissolves under running water. The plastic wrap that stops it from melting against the cold packs during transit is also recyclable.
Our food packs are recyclable after they’re rinsed, and the reusable storage container we provide in every box is made of biodegradable and recyclable materials — free from BPA and toxins.
We're Always Hungry for More
While we’re proud of our commitment to caring for the planet, there’s always going to be room for us to improve.
We’re in the process of re-evaluating our entire product experience, from the moment you open the box until you’ve finished feeding your dog, aiming to make every element as sustainable — and delightful — as conceivably possible. But food safety will always be our number 1 priority.

The dissolving packing in the box is a great step toward minimizing waste and is super fun for my daughter to do”

Also impressed with their effort on packaging to make everything in the order recyclable or biodegradable! I know that packaging probably isn’t the cheapest option but their commitment to reduce their footprint is impressive.”

The cardboard delivery boxes are recyclable, the insulation is biodegradable (it can be composted, or dissolved with water and sent down the sink drain) and the food packs are BPA-free and non-toxic.”
This is a complicated product to ship… I love how responsible they are about educating you on how to recycle every single component, and also how to properly handle the product.”
