Dogs in Orange County and their people can enjoy dog beaches, hiking spots, and ample pup-friendly outdoor dining options. There are plenty of pleasant, sunny days in Orange County, so just venturing outside with your dog is generally a pleasant experience.

This month, we’re highlighting some of our dog-friendly partners and special events in Orange County. Here’s what we want you to know.

Thursday, April 4:

Pour for Pups

Meet adoptable dogs, taste wine, and get free samples from The Farmer’s Dog. One note: don’t bring your own dog to this one—it’s all about the dogs from Mutts in Need who are looking for their new homes.

The Farmer’s Dog will be on hand with swag, treats, and free samples of our food.

Why, yes, it is the same type of event as above, only at a different location of Left Coast Brewing. If Puerta Del Sol is more convenient for you and your pup, swing by.

Saturday, April 20:

Mutts In Need Adoption Event at Great OutdoorFest

11am–2pm

Your dog can keep you company here as you look at gear for outdoor sports, eat food, drink beer, and meet adoptable dogs from local rescue organization Mutts in Need.

 

OC Aussie Meetup

Orange Dog Park, 190 South Yorba Street, Orange, CA 92869

1–3pm

Hang out with Australian shepherds and get free samples from The Farmer’s Dog.

 

Saturday, April 27:

Mutts in Need Adoption Event

10am–1pm

Meet adoptable dogs, eat some food at dog-friendly outdoor tables, and maybe make a day of it at Huntington Central Park.

 

Sunday, April 28

Adoption Event with the Golden Retriever Club of Greater Los Angeles

Escape Craft Brewing

The Laguna Niguel location of Escape Craft has beer, pinball, and live sports on TV—and they specifically note on their website that “you’re welcome to bring friendly dogs.”
