Our food is fresh
Dry food found in pet stores is subject to a high-heat, high-pressure manufacturing process, including high-heat drying to remove moisture. Kibble often contains preservatives because it’s designed to sit on store and pantry shelves for long periods of time.
The Farmer’s Dog food is made fresh, and delivered frozen. All our ready-to-eat recipes are made from whole meats and vegetables—cooked to destroy potential pathogens while retaining the nutritional value and moisture of the ingredients. Our food contains no preservatives. Every recipe is developed by on-staff, board-certified nutritionists to be complete and balanced according to AAFCO standards, and safe to feed for the life of your dog.
It’s important to note that not all fresh dog food is the same—we make our recipes to the standards of human food. That means both the ingredients we use and the production facilities where our food is made meet the same safety and quality standards that apply to foods that people eat.

Our food is pre-portioned for your dog

And if you do want to make changes to the quantity or frequency of your deliveries, that’s easy to do.
If you’re going out of town, you can pause shipments while you’re away. Or, if you prefer to send food directly to your U.S. destination, you can temporarily adjust your shipping address.
