In this video, made in partnership with The Dogist, we tell the story of Sam, who, at 16, can be considered a “super senior” Golden Retriever. Sam was rescued at eight years old, right before Christmas. Sam’s mom, Sarah, tells us about how special Sam has been to her family, and shares the secrets of his longevity (spoiler alert, good food and exercise play a role).
