In the days and weeks since Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, we’ve been blown away by the shelters and organizations working to rescue affected animals. Many shelters need supplies, while other organizations need additional resources as they transport dogs from high need areas.

Want to help? Here are a few charities that currently need our support.

Wings of Rescue
Wings of Rescue is an all-volunteer organization that provides air transport for pets in overcrowded and dangerous high intake shelters. Since Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, they have flown 17 missions and saved over 1,500 dogs and cats from Texas, Florida, Louisiana, Puerto Rico, and St. Thomas. Donate to their emergency response team and help them continue saving pets.

The Humane Society of the United States
HSUS has been coordinating flights and ground transports from hurricane areas with their Emergency Placement Partners across the country. Their Animal Rescue Team is now deploying to Collier County, one of the areas hit by Hurricane Irma, and they are asking for help via their Disaster Relief Fund.
