Grains are the edible seeds from grasses called cereal crops, such as wheat, barley, and oat. These cultivars are staples in a human diet, and can also be used in dog foods. Rice, barley, oats, millet, corn, and wheat are all grains that dog-food formulas may use.

Our Chicken & Grain, Pork & Grain, and Beef & Grain formulas all include oats. Oats are a good source of an omega-6 fatty acid dogs need called linoleic acid. Oats also have plenty of fiber.
