Taylor Root, VMD, received her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Pennsylvania. She then spent more than five years as a small animal general practitioner in private practice in Pennsylvania. Her practice included medicine and surgery, and she prided herself on building deep relationships with her patients and the people who loved them.
Dr. Root is proud to be at The Farmer’s Dog, where “there is a concerted effort to use research, science, and compassion to make a difference across the industry and to support other veterinarians in the process.”
Dr. Root’s pets include a one-eyed tuxedo cat named Duckie and “a large goofball of a rescue dog named Finn, who brings lots of smiles and hair to all who meet him.”
