Yes. The Farmer's Dog meals are made to human-grade standards, and all recipes are vet-formulated to be complete and balanced according to AAFCO standards, with options for every stage of life. All recipes undergo strict quality and safety testing, and do not contain high levels of heavy metals reported to be found in some kibble and air and freeze-dried options.

A novel protein is one from a new source that your dog hasn't had before. We offer pork and turkey, which are less common in traditional kibble and can be “novel” for many dogs. These are both good options for dogs with certain protein sensitivities.
